“ This is a gem of a place that takes you back in time. I love the diner ambiance with the old school booths, coffee refills and food that tastes home made. The service was quick and attentive. The only thing is the place was packed on a Sunday morning and so we had to wait a few minutes for our check and payment but other than that we were served and everything was smooth. They also gave complementary orange juice. We ordered the veggie and mushroom omelette with home fries, chocolate chip pancakes, coffee and hot chocolate. The food was very good and satisfying. I loved it, can't wait to go back again! ”

It was perfect for what I wanted in the moment--to have a QUICK BUDGET HOT meal with good company. I thank Ellie's for serving Parkchester the way they do, and hope to come back soon when I'm home again. (Our orders, would order again and recommend) Coffee: hot and ready! what more can you ask for, and waiters go around to refill Patty melt: my cousin and i both thought the patty was very good and juicy, but was served with cheddar and white bread instead of traditional swiss and rye, but we didn't specify Italian omlette w/ homefries: Nice flavor with the toppings, eggs were cooked right, homefries had that timeless taste, and portions filled me up real good :) ”
